Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Denver, CO)

Harborlight River Water Authority is a public water utility serving the Denver area. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 60 people based in Denver. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Denver. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
