Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Dallas, TX)

Nova Lantern Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Dallas area, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Model the cost of student accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
