Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Dallas, TX)

Northwind Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Dallas focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with meter readings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
