Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Summit Amber Early Learning and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 314 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of tuition and subsidies and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with meal programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
