Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Ironwood Quill Civic Services supports public agencies in Colorado Springs with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
