Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Cincinnati, OH)

Bright Quill Banking Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for deposit accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of deposit accounts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fraud alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
