Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Cincinnati, OH)

Bright Ridge Insurance is an insurance company in Cincinnati with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Model the cost of policy renewals and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
