Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Yarrow Foods is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • A relevant degree or certification.
