Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Orchard Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Chicago. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with case files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
