Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Amberfield Iron Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Charlotte. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
