Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Charleston, SC)

Clearpath Orchard Legal Group is a Charleston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of document review and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
