Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Charleston, SC)

Bright Oak Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Charleston serving households and small businesses, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of about 817 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Model the cost of card disputes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
