Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Nest Manufacturing is a Buffalo manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 198 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
