Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Bright Markets serves neighbourhoods around Buffalo with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of online orders and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
