Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Clearpath Thistle Early Learning is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
