Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Yarrow Foods is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
