Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Kestrel Manufacturing makes precision components in Buffalo, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Model the cost of scrap and rework and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
