Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boston, MA)

Summit Beacon Financial Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Boston. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of regulatory reports and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with vendor spend.
