Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Maple Manufacturing Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Boston. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
