Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boston, MA)

Lumen Wren Telecom is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
