Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boston, MA)

Bright Legal Group provides legal services in Boston across employment, housing and small-business law, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of client files and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
