Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Bridge Energy and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with hardship programmes.
