Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Boise, ID)

Summit Oak Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Boise. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of ingredient orders and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
