Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Lumen Wilder Financial and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 138 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Model the cost of loan applications and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
