Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Birmingham, AL)

Bright Quarry Energy Partners is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification.
