Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Pine Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Baltimore, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of pipe repairs and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
