Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Baltimore, MD)

Nova Union Banking Services is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 122 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of loan files and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
