Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Nest Financial Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Model the cost of payment disputes and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
