Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ivory Legal Group and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 177 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of court deadlines and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
