Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Orchard Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Anchorage, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Model the cost of route schedules and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
