Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ember Markets and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be pricing analysis. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
