Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (San Jose, CA)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning Group is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on pricing analysis for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
