Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (San Jose, CA)

Nova Granite Markets is a San Jose retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of pricing and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
