Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (San Diego, CA)

Fernwood Bright Markets is a San Diego retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
