Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Sacramento, CA)

Fernwood Meadow Insurance is an insurance company in Sacramento with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
