Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Richmond, VA)

Bright Iron Insurance Group is an insurance company in Richmond with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 146 people based in Richmond. What you will do • Model the cost of catastrophe response and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
