Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Harborlight Meridian Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Portland, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with case files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
