Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Bluepeak Fern Transit Planning Group helps transport agencies around Detroit design routes and schedules, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of service alerts and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
