Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Fernwood Orchard Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
