Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Rivermark Meadow Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charlotte and nearby communities, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of meter reading and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with water quality. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
