Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Lumen Iron Insurance Partners sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Hartford. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • A relevant degree or certification.
