Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Summit Mill Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Charlotte, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of ridership counts and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fare systems. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
