Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Silverline Orchard Energy is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on pricing analysis for usage data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Reliability is the job, and people here take pride in answering the phone at 3 a.m. when needed. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
