Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Northwind Mill Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Spokane, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
