Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Silverline Pine Markets serves neighbourhoods around Chicago with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of store inventory and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
