Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Northwind Quarry Energy is an energy provider in Portland focused on reliable service and fair billing, and we need a Financial Analyst to lead our pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 176 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of billing disputes and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
