Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Summit Wren Foods produces packaged foods at its Hartford plant. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. You would join a small organisation of about 151 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of production batches and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
