Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (remote)

Northwind Rook Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Memphis. We are hiring a Financial Analyst to take on pricing analysis. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Model the cost of premium billing and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
