Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Providence, RI)

Cedar Ember Water Authority is looking for a Financial Analyst. The job centres on pricing analysis for capital projects, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Providence. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of capital projects and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
