Financial Analyst - pricing analysis (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Wilder Insurance and adding a Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be pricing analysis. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of customer complaints and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with premium billing. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
